Overlooking the mouth of Bonne Bay this totally unmarked trail provides a 360 degree panorama of the national park, from the orange of the Tablelands on one side to the distant mound of Gros Morne Mountain on the other with a birds eye view of villages, bogs and forests in between.

On top of the Lookout hills plateau, we leave civilization and the bustle of the village below. With moose wandering through the bogs and rock ptarmigan hiding amongst the rocks the chances of a wildlife encounter is pretty good.
